My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Stellara Resort in The Smokey Mountains during our recent vacation.
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating; they made sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay from the minute we pulled into the parking lot. Management, you found a great team in Shina, Francisco, and Jesse. Now, on to the house...THE HOUSE! We stayed in the Polaris Mirror Home and loved every minute of it!! It is not just beautiful and clean but also exudes a sense of comfort, perfectly decorated with sky and star- themed decor. The amenities, like the hot tub and sauna, were a spot I couldn't wait to enjoy every night. The location was also perfect, in what felt right in the middle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, with stunning views all around. I would also suggest getting the telescope! It took a minute to figure it out, but seeing the stars and constellations close up was so neat.
There is still some construction as they finish up a few of the houses; however, we rarely hear them working. The construction team didn't start too early or stay too late and respected our stay.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience, so much so that we were excited when we found out they were not booked and we could add two days to our stay. The resort's flexible booking policy made it very convenient for us to extend our vacation.
While there, we enjoyed popular attractions such as a mountain rollercoaster, The Mill Restaurant, Anakeesta, Ole Red, FoxFire Mountain, etc. My favorite would be Anakeesta and FoxFire Mountain. FoxFire is close to the Mirror House, and we went there multiple times for quick hikes and ziplining with some fantastic instructors.
I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation, and I can't wait until we return!
